Technology Convergence Lab
This lab is intended to address the issues of convergence of different communication technologies such as GSM, WiFi, GPRS, WiMax and BlueTooth. The lab is especially designed for MS and PhD students. It contains 6 dedicated PCs interconnected with LAN and equipped with latest softwares. Many research projects are currently in progress which includes Wild Life Project for Health Monitoring using Wireless Sensor Networks. 1 PhD project on QoS issues of cellular service providers is also in progress. Network Simulation facility is also provided to students such as NS-2 and OMNET to test their ideas and see performance improvement on networking protocols.
