The functions of the Provost are to promote the success of students at CIIT by providing
enrichment programs, counseling, guidance, orientation, and support.

More specifically, he looks after the affairs of the student's hostels (male and
female).

He also deals
with students behavior issues and acts of indiscipline.

Promotes parent-teacher relationship, and supervises students clubs and societies.
