Computer Science Society
Aim and Objectives
Computer Science Society has been established to provide a platform for CIIT students to keep themselves updated with the computing industry. For this purpose, software competitions and seminars are organized regularly. Our students are encouraged to acquire new skills by attending workshops and short courses in contemporary computing areas.
This increases their confidence by allowing them to participate in in-house and outside competitions. The members of CSS have participated in competitions held at Institutions like EME, Bahria University, GIKI,etc. and won coveted prizes.
Achievements
The first major participation by CSS was in March-April 2000, at E.M.E, Rawalpindi, in which CIIT Won second position in the quiz competition. The participants of CIIT won 1st prize in the, All Pakistan software competition, held at Bharia University Islamabad in 2000.

CIIT, Islamabad won 3rd Position in all Pakistan Solftware competition held at Bahria Institute of Management and Computer Sciences, Islamabad on December 21-22, 2002. Out of a list of 46 universities from all over the country, the application prepared by the following students was adjudged as one of the best:
