Visit of French delegation from Institute of Business Administration (IAE) Network on 5th March 2009.
A visit by four member French delegation visited CIIT, Islamabad on 5th May 2009. The purpose of the visit was to promote mutual cooperation and collaboration in training and research with CIIT. The delegation was led by Mr. Bernard Fioleau, Vice-President of the IAE Network and accompanied by Mr. Patrice Lecomte, representative of the Director of IAE and Dr. Olivier Bergossi and Eng. Sandie Favier, both attaches at French embassy, Islamabad.

Dr. Azim, acting Rector welcomed the delegation. Than Dr. Raheel Qamar, Dean Faculty of Sciences gave a presentation of CIIT. Subsequently, Mr. Bernard Fioleau introduced the IAE network as being an association of 31 institutes offering management science education. He informed that in France only a limited programs are offered in English, however a PhD can be done entirely in English. He further informed that his institution, University of Nantes, has collaboration with 400 partner universities in 60 countries all over the world.

The delegation was interested to conceive a Joint Master Program. For such an arrangement, Eng. Sandie Favier informed that it is possible at the initial stages of this program, French professors can teach in Pakistan at French government expenses.

Now at CIIT, it is being contemplated whether or not to forge collaboration with IAE Network, France.
