NCRD Participants visited CIIT Library

Forty plus participants, mostly library and Information professionals from all over Pakistan, visited CIIT (Islamabad Campus) library on May 20, 2010.

National Centre for Rural Development (NCRD) Islamabad library organized course with a theme “Role of ICT in Library Management Skills” and this visit was a part of the course.

Raja Muhammad Ibrahim (Senior Librarian) gave a comprehensive briefing about the services, objectives and future plans of CIIT (Islamabad Campus) library.

An ample lecture of Raja Muhammad Ibrahim was also arranged on “Users Education and Role of Library Professionals” He emphasizing on planning, organizing, and implementing user education programs by library professionals to aware users; what they have, how they can facilitate them in this rapidly changing environment.

Different sections of the library were also visited by the participants where they were briefed about the role and functions of each section by the section heads.
