Two French professors: Prof Marc Diener & Prof Francine Marc Diener arrive at CIIT
Two senior mathematicians Prof Marc Diener and Prof Francine Marc Diener have arrived at CIIT Islamabad this Monday, January 17, 2011. Both French professors belong to the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis and look after the Erasmus Mundus Action 2 partnership EMMA-West in the capacity of Coordinator. They are here for a week till Sunday, January 23rd, 2011.
In the course of their stay in Islamabad, they will be conducting one seminar on Mathematical Modeling of Genes regulatory Networks (ODE for Biology). Besides this they will also conduct presentations and discussion on the European academic exchange program known as EMMA (Erasmus Mundus Mobility for Asia). It may be recalled that last year CIIT has joined a university consortium headed by University of Nice to benefit from the scholarships, academic and staff exchanges offered under the EMMA program. The French delegates will also contemplate signing a MoU between CIIT and University of Nice for the formation of an academic linkage. Click here for Pictures...
